Payments and refunds
Who charges your card, when, and where the receipt is.
Is there a service fee?
No. You pay the nightly rate and the host's fees, itemized before you commit. Nothing is added at the end, including tax: Clear Air Stays does not collect lodging tax; where a local tax applies it is the host's to handle.
Who charges my card?
The host, on their own payment account. Clear Air Stays is a directory and never holds the money for your stay.
When is my card charged?
When you request a stay your card is authorized. It is charged when the host accepts; if the host declines or does not answer by the reply time on your trip, the authorization is released.
Where is my receipt?
On each trip, with every charge and refund.
