Essential oils
Synthetic fragrance is prohibited. Disclosed essential oils in cleaning products are permitted.
Guests can request a zero-essential-oil clean. The host confirms that request before the booking is accepted.
How review works
A host photographs the label of every cleaning and laundry product in use, and someone here reads those photos against the answers before the listing goes live. Editing the answers sends the listing back for review, and a guest report on a stay takes it out of search until it has been looked at again.
Air purifiers, flooring, ventilation, all-electric cooking, pet-free and pesticide-free are amenities rather than requirements. Hosts record them and search filters on them.
