What do you need?
I’m in a place right now and it’s wrong

The Clear Air Guarantee
If a place is not what it said when you arrive, tell us within 12 hours of check-in and the whole booking is refunded, whatever the host’s cancellation policy says. The listing comes out of search in the same minute.
A claim is filed against a stay, so it needs you signed in. If you cannot get in, the recovery link is below — do that first.
Filing a claim refunds you immediately. Write to us in the same breath and we will help you find somewhere else nearby.
The questions we get asked
- What does it mean that a place is listed here?
- That it is fragrance-free. The host confirms the eight things on this list, photographs the products they clean with, and someone here reads the photos before the listing goes live. There are no levels or badges — a place is either on the platform or it is not.
- Can you guarantee I won't react?
- No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Two people with the same diagnosis react to different things. What we can do is tell you what each place does and does not have, and refund you in full if it turns out not to be what it said.
- How do I compare places on the details rather than the photos?
- Save a few to a list and compare them on your saved stays. It puts the answers side by side — flooring, air purifier, ventilation, gas or electric, pets — and shows an unanswered question as unanswered rather than guessing.
- Who sees what I react to?
- Only you, unless you tick the box to share it when you book — and then only the host of that stay, and only the list of triggers. It never appears in search results, in analytics, or in anything public. See the privacy notice.
- Is there a service fee?
- No. You pay the nightly rate and the host’s fees, and every line is itemised before you commit. Nothing is added at the end — including tax: Clear Air Stays does not collect lodging or occupancy tax, so no tax line is added to what you pay here. Where a local tax applies it is the host’s to handle.
- What would I get back if I cancelled?
- The exact figure, today, is on the trip itself in your trips — not a policy name, the number. It is computed by the same code the cancellation runs, so what you are shown is what you would be paid.
- Can I change the dates of a stay?
- Not yet, and we would rather say so than bury it. Today the only route is to cancel — the trip page shows exactly what that refunds — and book again, which means the rate and the room are not held for you. Message your host first: a host who agrees can hold the dates while you rebook.
- A listing looks wrong to me. What do I do?
- Report it from the listing page, or write to us below. A report does not unlist a property on its own — that would make it a takedown button — but someone here reads every one. If you are staying in it, use the guarantee at the top of this page instead: that takes it out of search immediately and refunds you.
Can’t sign in?
Resetting the password is the fastest route back in, and it signs out every device that was already signed in — which is the point if the reason you cannot get in is that somebody else can.
